 We are looking for anyone that is interested in becoming a race director to help evaluate riders for proper classification.

Please read the info below with some basic info on the gang. We will attach a link to a more detailed rule book at a later date.

Introduction

Thank you for your interest in Joining the OTHG!

Anyone over the age of 30 is welcome to join the Club.

Only Club members or invited guests can race with the gang.

Why Join the OTHG?

There are many reasons to join the Central California OTHG.

1. Fair racing with all new riders racing two "evaluation races" to insure they are placed in the proper class as judged by multiple race commitee members. No trophies for the first two race but 15 points will be given for each race.
2. Race in the Following age groups +30/+38/+45 and the new +50 class. Also by ability Real Beginner/Novice/Intermediate and expert and Pro Classes
3. Shorter Race days. We will work hard to schedule as many gang only races as possible. We also will schedule our races with local promoters so you do not have to choose between an OTHG race or a CMA event as an example. You can race your CMA class and then your OTHG class on the same day(if your fitness permits...)
4. You have a child that wants to race but does not want to race the larger local events. We will have support classes for your kids. Usually Mini/Female/250/450 classes are used. You can also race the support gates as your second class.
5. You will receive discounts with Chapter supporters with your OTHG Card.
6. You WILL have a voice. We will hold monthly meeting where you will be able to help shape the club and its direction. Your involvement is welcome and needed. 

What if I am not 30 yet??

1. We have a class for you!! 
2. We will run a separate support class you racers that are 25-29 years old. Don't stop racing!! Race with the OTHG in 2008

What does it cost to Join?

1. The annual membership is $40.00 for a new member $35.00 for a renewal or a second chapter.

What Number can or do I use?

1. The Numbers 1-20 are reserved for our top 20 point earners from the 2008 season. When you join you have the choice to ask for any open number available.
2. We will post a link with all open numbers on the site and keep it updated for you to use as reference.

Do I need special Background Colors or Letters?

1. YES AFTER YOUR EVAL RIDES YOU MUST HAVE THE PROPER COLORED BACKGROUNDS NUMBERS AND V LETTER ON YOUR BIKE TO RACE AND BE SCORED

   PLEASE NOTE: Racers will be required to run the full and proper colored Backgrounds at the Nationals.  See the note below on some Great pricing from Mark at Motohead Graphics.  Decal Works also offers a discount for the OTHG.

   OTHG SPECIAL: Bob Wilson(our Pres) has stepped up with a deal for our members.

   Madera Honda Suzuki will sell you an extra set of plastic for you bike at Cost + 15%.  Do not worry if you Race another Brand we can get Acerbis etc for your bike even the GREEN Ones.
